Vans Greece – “Nous”

Nous (from Greek: νοῦς), is a concept from classical philosophy, sometimes equated to intellect or intelligence, for the faculty of the human mind necessary for understanding what is true, real or possible. That’s exactly the mindset that a skater needs to build in order to analyze/decrease the risk while approaching the obstacle with a sense of creative perspective. The Greek Vans team succeeded on both of these aspects by producing heavy maneuvers on Athenian terrain that we have never seen before or witnessed being used like that. Alex Tsaga, Denis Skamnas, Chris Kats, Asimina Manouskou, Thanos Panou, Nikolas Konstadakis, Tony Tzo, Giorgio Zavos, Dimitris Kaberis, Thanasis Arabuli, and Mini Pro are the stars of this project, which Kostas Mandilas put together with the right mix between a “classic” skate video and cinematic finesse to make it a great watch.
